Greetings!!
I am Khan Md Hasib a first year PhD Student in the school of School of Systems and Computing at the University of New South Wales, Canberra. I am currently working in the Decision Support and Analytics Research Group (DSARG) at UNSW Canberra. At present, I am investigating bias, fairness and safety in the medical domain data.
Prior to that I worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. I also involved as a Lead Researcher at Advanced Machine Intelligence Research Lab (AMIRL). I have received my M.Sc. degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Brac University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Additionally, I have completed my B.Sc. from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), Dhaka, Bangladesh. My career aspiration is to work in leading AI research laboratories.
I am open to any Research Collaborations in the field of Natural Language Processing, Health Informatcs and Computer Vision. For any inquiries or potential collaborations, please feel free to reach out via email.

[December 2024] - Become an Associate Student Member at the Australian Computer Society (ACS). [Membership No - 4434546]
[November 2024] - A long collaborative paper has been accepted in Scientific Reports Journal [Quartile: Q1].
[September 2024] - A short paper has been accepted in for oral presentation in COMPAS 2024.
[September 2024] - Invited as a Keynote Speaker in an online webinar title Ph.D. in Australia organized by IEEE BUBT Student Branch.
[August 2024] - A long collaborative paper has been accepted in Neural Computing and Applications Journal. [Quartile: Q1].
[June 2024] - Reached 1000 citations on my Google Scholar profile!!
